2017 Iron Butt Rally Registration
Some of you eagle eyes have been in records and seen the test link for the registration for the 2017 IBR - registering while I was out digging out my garage and even before I could get in to test the production version (which was all of about 8 minutes). The record goes to Andy Mackey at 37 seconds after Gary (the programmer posted it).
While you are welcome to use it if you want to (it does work although there are some broken links etc), there is NO advantage to jumping in and registering until we send out the email with key factors you might want to know.
For example, are we starting in Panama? Is the entry fee going to be $12,209.16? What date are we starting, December 20, 2017?
Hang in there, we are waiting to firm up a couple of budget numbers to set the entry fee - remember, we have to predict costs out 18 months from now.
I can tell you this, we are starting deep in Team Strange territory in Minnesota where it is a balmy -4 right now. we are hoping it warms up by June of 2017.
