24 Hours To Denver! New to Long Distance Riding or just need a Reason to Ride?
 |
Want to join the Iron Butt Association but haven't gotten around to planning a ride? Worried about sending in your paperwork and 'the wait' to see if it's accepted? Want to meet some new folks or learn how to farkle your bike but don't know how to do that? Wondering how in the world you can ever meet Mr. Iron Butt himself- the legendary Michael Kneebone?? Well, we have answers to all those questions in one easy step - Twenty Four Hours to Denver! |
You'll plan out a 24 hour IBA ride (SS1K or BBG), ending in Denver, Colorado. Riders may check in anytime between 1:00 PM
Wednesday & 1:00 PM Thursday (24 hour window). When you register for the National Meet, you submit your route in advance to the email address provided. Then when you arrive in Denver, you'll turn in your receipts - that's it!! At one of the banquets, Michael Kneebone will personally award your certificate. How easy is that?!!!
So, if you are not an IBA member but want to attend the National Meet, sign up to do a ride in to Denver (if you don't have an IBA member number, use '111'). If you're already a member this is your chance to have Mike personally award your certificate.
To sign up for the "24 Hours To Denver" ride, be sure to check the appropriate 'Yes' button toward the bottom of the "Attendee Info" tab on the NatMeet Registration form. PAYMENT: SaddleSore or Bun-Burner Gold (complete package, verification, pin, plate back and certificate) is $50, payable upon your arrival during Check-In/Registration.
