Background:

This ride celebrates  the riding community's love of Taco's and requires you to eat a taco at each stop. Rides on a Tuesday will get special mention on the certificate.

Read the rules for the iconic SaddleSore 1000 on the Iron Butt Association site.  The rules for this ride are similar and you will get valuable background information.

Documentation:  See here.

Definitions

Taco - A crispy or soft corn or wheat tortilla that is folded or rolled and stuffed with a mixture such as seasoned meat, cheese, lettuce, onions etc.

DBR - Dated Business Receipt

A DBR is a machine generated receipt with the date, time and LOCATION on it.  Check it - do not assume it is correct.  A receipt with an incorrect time/date/location is worthless.  Check and re-check.

THE RIDE

You will be taking photos at each stop eating what else - Tacos - and it must be a Taco, and collecting receipts with each meal.

Your ride starts when you buy your first Taco (so you are on the clock when you take your first picture).

Your ride ends at your last stop, AFTER you eat your final Taco.

Permitted Taco Locations

Each permitted Taco location must not be part of a chain (a chain is a group of stores/restaurants with at least seven locations.

**We recognize that few Taco locations are open 24/7, but there are NO WILDCARDS with this ride. Be creative with your timing of this ride and look for locations that serve Tacos for breakfast.

Each Taco location must be at least 150 ridden miles apart.

You may take any route you like.

Your official time is determined by the starting and ending receipts.  PLEASE check these documents and make sure the clock and date are correct!

Spotwalla.com is strongly recommended but not required.

Remember it is YOUR responsibility to prove you visited all  required stops in the required order.  Spotwalla goes a long way towards this proof.
