Background:
What’s the best way to show your true love how much you care?
Diamonds?
--Nah, too expensive.
Chocolates?
--Nope, too fattening.
Flowers?
--No way, bad for allergies.
Besides, all of these are too commercial and materialistic.
The one true gift, one that comes from your heart, soul, and backside,
is a dedicated Iron Butt ride.
So plan to ride any Saddlesore or Bun Burner ride on Valentine’s Day,
February 14, and you’ll receive two special Valentine certificates, one
of which you can belatedly present to your true love.
You can plan any route you wish, but you must be riding some time
during February 14. That means you can start on February 13 and
finish on February 14; or start on February 14 and finish on February
15.
For the Gold Ride:
You must visit any city with 'love', 'diamond', 'rose' or
'valentine' in the city name. Get a DBR with that city name.
Submit your ride application through the normal channels.

Definitions
DBR - Dated Business Receipt
A DBR is a machine generated receipt with the date, time and LOCATION
on it. Check it - do not assume it is correct. A receipt
with an incorrect time/date/location is worthless. Check and
re-check.

You may start and finish any place you like.
You may take any route you like.
You must have at least one DBR dated February 14.
Your official time is determined by the starting
and ending receipts. PLEASE check these documents and make sure
the clock and date are correct!
Spotwalla.com
is strongly recommended but not
required.
Remember it is YOUR responsibility to prove you visited
all required stops in the required order. Spotwalla goes a
long
way towards this proof.
